The Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) is a worldwide community of high-integrity, entrepreneurial leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector. Using the Aspen Institute's time-tested leadership seminar model, the AGLN challenges leaders to “paint their lives on a broader canvas” and to stretch and do more for their societies. They’ve developed a theory of change for their leadership model, in order to provide a quick snapshot of how they work and the goals they aspire to reach. The challenge here was how to capture as much of their process within one landscape 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper while alluding to “la mystique” as they put it – which is the magical spark of the transformative process that occurs within the program. To accomplish this goal, we used a condensed font, an image of a gem that alludes to the spark and directional shapes that move the viewer's eye across the page.


The Aspen Global Leadership Network is a worldwide community of over 3,000 high-integrity, entrepreneurial leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector in more than 50 countries. Because of their demonstrated accomplishments and abilities, they have been selected to be part of one of 14 geographic or sector-specific Fellowships around the world.The spirit of the Aspen Global Leadership Network is to move an emerging generation of leaders “from success to significance” and “from thought to action.” We hope to activate a global cadre of highly entrepreneurial, creative leaders to step “out of their box” and to act to address the foremost challenges of our times – wherever these challenges may lie and however big they may be.
