Translating ritual and care into a cohesive brand system

Nina Lafuente is a wellness entrepreneur offering body and face oils rooted in ritual, care, and intention. As the business evolved, Nina needed her visual presence to reflect the quality and thoughtfulness of her work — across product packaging and her website — without feeling overproduced or disconnected from her values.

The challenge was to create a brand system that felt elevated and cohesive while remaining warm, grounded, and human.

My role

My role was to interpret Nina’s vision and translate it into a clear, unified visual language — one that could carry across packaging and digital spaces with confidence and ease.

Rather than asking Nina to arrive with fully formed answers, I led the process by listening closely, asking intentional questions, and helping clarify what the brand needed to communicate visually. From there, I guided the design through refinement and execution, ensuring each element worked together as part of a whole.

The approach

The work began by identifying what the brand needed to hold: simplicity, care, and trust.

From that foundation, I developed a restrained visual system that balanced softness with structure — allowing the products to feel personal and refined without becoming precious. Typography, spacing, and tone were chosen to support clarity and longevity, ensuring the brand could grow without needing to be reworked.

The website design extended this system digitally, creating a calm, cohesive experience that mirrored the feeling of the products themselves.

The result

The finished brand feels intentional, polished, and aligned — giving Nina a visual presence that reflects the depth of her work and supports her business as it continues to evolve.
