Translating joy and presence into a lasting visual identity
Yoga with K2 is a personal brand built around Kristina — an elementary school teacher, yogi, and deeply joyful presence in her community. Her work is grounded in warmth, optimism, and connection, and she wanted her brand and website to reflect that spirit in a way that felt sincere, professional, and unmistakably her.
The challenge was to translate something inherently human — energy, joy, approachability — into a visual identity that felt simple, intentional, and lasting.
My role
My role was to listen closely and interpret what made Kristina’s work resonate so deeply with the people she teaches.
Through conversation, reflection, and careful distillation, I led the process of translating her personality, values, and presence into a visual system that could carry her work forward — without over-designing or smoothing away what made it special.
A brand that feels as joyful and grounded as the person behind it.
The approach
The design focused on joy with restraint.
We developed a clean, handcrafted visual language that balanced warmth and clarity — allowing optimism, sincerity, and lightness to come through without feeling busy or overly whimsical. Typography, spacing, and form were chosen to feel open and welcoming, while still grounded and professional.
The Squarespace website extended this system into a calm, engaging digital space — using photography, pacing, and a simple structure to let Kristina’s presence and work take center stage.
The result
The finished brand feels joyful, approachable, and aligned — reflecting Kristina as she shows up in the world.
Rather than feeling like a constructed identity, the design feels like a natural extension of who she already is. With a clear visual foundation in place, Yoga with K2 now has a presence that supports connection, recognition, and growth — without losing its heart.
